Level 2: Failed National Systems affecting Mavoko

Level 2 of the three-layered problem is the failure of government systems at national level. There are things no matter what you do at local level you cannot solve the problems. This is because the root cause of these problems is at national level where systems are broken.

The national systems are broken by corruption and poor leadership:

The more corrupt the leaders get, the more they promote mediocre leadership so that they can steal more and sustain their pillage of national resources. Poor leadership breeds corruption and corruption breeds poor leaders across the land. We must break this vicious cycle.

In this matter, our greatest enemies are our flirtation with corruption (which word also means decay and death), and our illicit love affair with poor leadership. We have been corrupted to a point where we have normalized corruption. Corruption has become a big part of our way of life, our culture. And so, we elect thieves and charlatans with our eyes open. Once they get their dirty hands on the national treasury, they steal everything. Corruption eats resources which should go to infrastructure development and provision of services such as clean cities, working hospitals, schools with teachers and equipment , and others.

Therefore, no matter what you do at local level, without fixing the national systems, you are just like a man running on the spot: You will run, spend time, get tired, but at the end you will be exactly where you when you started.

This means that your leader must not only be an honest man, but he must also be educated, skilled and experienced in engineering, economics, finance and environment to understand the complex nature of the way the world is managed. I am that man and am the only one with sufficient education and worldwide experience in development and banking to understand the complex web of political economy.

What is the solution ? My 5 year strategy for Mavoko
